Elubo, or Yam flour, is the product of cleaning, slicing, blending, and drying yams and/or cassava into a flour.
Yam flour is used to prepare Àmàlà, a food that has long been enjoyed by the Yoruba people in Nigeria 🇳🇬. Àmàlà requires very few ingredients and cooks in minutes. It is served with curries, soups, stews, and other dishes that you can dip into and let the warm, bready ball absorb the flavor!
Yam flour also makes a great alternative to wheat flour, and can be used in many gluten free recipes.
